Oh Boy. I've been sewing since I can remember making silly things on my very ancient black Singer sewing machine! Simple sewing skills enabled us to save money by sewing clothes for the kids, creating costumes, repairing clothing emergencies, and creating home decor items of all kinds.
Everyone should try their hand at sewing - sewing by hand or running a machine. It is very exciting and gratifying to create a new item or transform an old one into a new purpose.
