I learned to knit only about three years ago, maybe four. I have two fantastic knitting role models.
My mother, Charlotte, who knits voraciously and has had personal training from Meg Swanson and company; and my girlfriend, Renee', who I watched and watched her knit while I was crocheting.
Finally I said -"I think I could do that!"
And the knitting adventure had begun.
It's excellent to have 'go to' people when you are stuck with instructions or just need that reassuring push from a friend that tells you that you should go ahead and try that next project.
